I am a mid-career Belgian-born Australian multidisciplinary artist working across fine metals in jewellery and in sculpture, biological arts, photography, poetry, autobiographical fiction and other writing.

I consider Walyalup (Fremantle, Western Australia) as home.

My recent work as a visual artist is captured in a series of solo exhibitions: ‘Tributaries’ (Mundaring Arts Centre, 2021) was part of the IOTA21 wider program for which I received a DGLSCI grant, followed by ‘Arborea’ (Southern Forest Arts, Northcliffe, May 2023 and Gallery 152 in York, October 2023). In August 2024 a new exhibition ‘Concurrencies’ focused on marine habitats, at the Alister Yiap Gallery in Perth, with artist talks at Boola Bardip (WA Museum) and at the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial 2024 Conference (Curtin University, September 2024).

Bringing poetry in the visual space to contextualise and support the visual narrative is an ongoing focus. In 2025 I coordinated LAND ((WORD)) JOURNEY at Midland Junction Arts Centre, a group exhibition with poets and visual artists, and contributed poems handwritten in copper, silk and shadows. Some of this work will be shown at Inky Depths later this year.

I am currently creating new work as an Honorary Research Associate at Murdoch University, working alongside and with veterinary scientists on a sculptural archive of precious wildlife for exhibitions in 2027 and beyond.
